Five Ward 7 applicants invited for council interviews
Here are the revised results of the seven city councilors “votes” for which applicants to invite for interviews. Five applicants were selected:

City Council schedule
Lack of communication with voters and transparency are among the main issues that many Ward 7 voters have with Eugene City government. A perfect example of that failure is that the day after the November 9th deadline for applications to be appointed as Interim Ward 7 City Councilor, the City appears to have removed all information about the rest of the process from the City website. It’s as if Ward 7 voters don’t really matter in deciding who gets appointed to represent them.
The Steering Committee is committed to filling the City’s communication gap.

She writes: “Hello! I have submitted my application with the City to be the interim City Councilor for Ward 7. I believe I am a good fit for this position because I am passionate about helping my community and being a true representative of the people. I am the Executive Director of WellMama, a nonprofit here in Eugene that provides mental health support to families. I work every day to support our community and I hope to be able to be an advocate for my neighbors and uplift the voices of our community.”
