In a memo to the Mayor and City Councilors, dated November 15, 2022, City Recorder, Katie LaSala, stated: “The following applicants have not been confirmed as meeting the eligibility requirements:”

Daniel Takamori — Unable to identify the person or contact him.
Thomas Hiura — Not resident of Eugene during entire year prior to appointment.
There was also a completely invalid application using the name “Stephanie Dugger,” which we have not included in prior lists of applicants.

The Steering Committee has previously reached out to several applicants for clarification on residency or other items and will post the latest determinations as the City provides further updates or any of the three applicants provide information to the Steering Committee.
