Today, November 15th, the city staff sent applications and “interview ballots” to the seven city councilors who will decide whom to appoint as the Interim Ward 7 City Councilor.

As usual, City staff have not made any of this information available to Ward 7 voters, but a formal Public Records request has been filed for that information.

The City has identified three applications as “not yet confirmed” as meeting the legal requirements. This doesn’t mean these applicants have been disqualified because the City may simply not have identified records that confirm some of the legal requirements (e.g., being a resident of the city for one year immediately before being appointed to the office). The three applications are for:
